Textures and Patterns in Nature Online Class

This class teaches you how to make great felt.

In this class, we’ll investigate ways to translate those observations into felt and textile surfaces, using a variety of materials and techniques to develop interesting patterns, textures and designs.

We’ll look at gathering inspiration, experimenting with materials and allowing the unexpected to become part of the creative process.

Whether you’re inspired by the landscape outside your window, the details of a leaf, weathered surfaces or the patterns found in your own backyard, this class will encourage you to look at the natural world with fresh eyes.
