Back from Sydney and off to Hobart!

Well I am a bit behind with my Blog! Have been to Sydney and back where we had our second Felt Studio event. It was a great week and we taught hundreds of people to make felt! Lovely hats, bags, scarves, booties and many, many flowers. Each item was imbued with the makers creative use of colour and texture. Next it was back to Brisbane and the Textile Art Festival where I taught for three days. We had a full day slipper class which kept everybody very busy, and what a display it made at the end. The other days were teacosies and journal covers. Next week we are off to Hobart and the Craft and Quilt Fair, with yet another Felt Studio Event. The studio will be a place to come to make felt. No prior bookings are taken, just come to the studio first thing in the morning (10.00am Opening). Choose your project and get started. The classes are mixed classes so you have a full choice of items to make. There will be bags, hats and scarves, flowers and booties… plenty to choose from. Prices start at $20 and includes your materials. Guaranteed to be heaps of fun.
