Times, they are changing.
Well, again we find ourselves in quite a pickle. Masks are mandatory again and we have restrictions. Compared to most places in the world, and other states in Australia, we are doing well. It does feel rather precarious though.
I have just finished a month of open studio weekends, a soft opening for the Gallery and then along came my 60th Birthday.
It does somehow feel like the perfect opportunity for a new beginning. The gift of COVID has been time at home to actually plan out what is most important in my life. I have really enjoyed the process. I have not been in a creative making space so much, but creativity takes many forms. Our meals have improved and the garden is thanking me for my care! I also have new chickens.
I am so excited to be finding my way back into full creativity and looking forward to you joining me on the next part of my journey. We are creating a new website, developing some fabulous new online workshops and my gallery “The Felt Studio Gallery” is now open by appointment. It has been quite a year.
Here is one of my favourite photos from my traveling and teaching days… a beautiful swim in a glacial lake. Oh I am a lucky woman.
