About Our Wild Things Exhibition
Be inspired by this unique exhibition and Pop-Up Shop of bespoke artworks incorporating beautifully crafted natural fibres and fabrics. Local Brisbane artists, Sharyn Hall and Wendy Bailye create exceptional quality, handmade and hand-fashioned work that is guaranteed to have the WOW factor!
Both well recognised in their respective fields as contemporary textile artists – Sharyn specialises in fabric surface design and mixed media and Wendy works as a felt maker and textile artist. Enjoying long-standing international careers in the arts, they are at an age when their best work is being showcased after decades of experience, learning, and teaching.
Much of their work is inspired by travels and life experiences and both artists will be present at the exhibition to talk about their artworks. Come and immerse yourself in the wonderful tactile world of textile art.
