One of the things I love most about teaching is helping people discover new possibilities with their materials and develop confidence in their own creative ideas.
After more than 35 years of making and teaching, I still believe there is always something new to explore. My classes are about much more than learning a technique. They are about experimenting, sampling, making discoveries and finding your own creative voice.
I know how frustrating it can be to watch a quick online tutorial and be left wondering what to do next. That’s why I share so much of my process, including the little details that make a difference, along with plenty of ideas to help you develop your own work.

Classes open for registration for our
once-a-year intake on October 31st 2026. Please keep in mind that as I head to retirement years, tutored classes may not be in my schedule, and my classes will be evergreen without active tutor input.

My annual, once-a-year, fully tutored teaching block for each class is as follows:
