Well, 2020 has been a doozy so far!

My life has been turned upside down. I have gone from a full year planned to no work and no income which has been challenging. As with most artists, there is no compensation available for this. Our government has been very generous to people who have lost their work and this really helps people such a lot. Compared to many in the world though, my suffering has been non-existent. I wonder how you all are faring? Right now I am meant to be teaching on a cruise to Singapore- my how things have changed. My creativity has gone to pot and I am trying to do my best to look after myself, lots of long walks and meditation and gardening. I swim most days in our beautiful local creek which is a bit chilly but very invigorating. I am fortunate that my three grandchildren are isolating with us at home so that is a great joy. I have been working on some stitching to keep relaxed. They are samples of felt lamination. I also worked on a machine-stitched piece coloured with earth pigments. I was playing with thick linen thread in the bobbin. I have really enjoyed working on them. Please stay safe and well wherever you are.
